Parties & Activities

There will be four fantastic parties: a great pre-party on Thursday, two big parties with live music on Friday and Saturday, and the cozy farewell-tea-dance on Sunday.

There will be a teacher introduction during the Friday party, main teacher spotlights on Saturday, and maybe a performance or two if we're lucky!

SINGLE PARTY TICKETS

You can buy single tickets at the door for the Friday and Saturday parties for 550 NOK per night, and if you want to buy tickets for both evenings, the price is 900 NOK in total.

Thursday pre-party at BLS

A live band and DJs will welcome you and let you have a warm up to get ready and groovy for the rest of the weekend.

Friday & Saturday main parties

The two main parties at Samfunnssalen have live music by Oslo’s favourite swing jazz ensemble ✨Jazzombies✨ both nights. Get ready for vibrant parties with lots of dancing, and also some inspiration - there will be a teacher presentation, social demos and showcases! There will also be a special DJ set on Saturday with a mix of other music styles🎶

Sunday goodbye dance at BLS

The cozy and relaxed goodbye dance at BLS have DJs that will keep you dancing until the very end. Have a snack and a sip of the craft beer from our local lindy hop brewers in between the final Winter Jump dances with your new and old friends.

Sunday afterparty

If you’re not ready to end the night, you can walk over to the (unofficial) afterparty at BLÅ! This is not organized by Winter Jump, so there will be other lovely people there, and not room and music for swing outs. But! There will be lots of dancing to mostly soul/funk/ska from Frank Znort Quartet, who plays until midnight, and then invites their favorite DJs to play funky tunes until 03:00. Hang out, dance, and have some drinks with the band. Who needs Mondays anyways…

Get to know your fellow dancers outside of the dance floor and class room - join us for some side activities during Winter Jump 2025! Anyone with a pass for Winter Jump (Full pass, Full Party pass, Duo Party pass, Family pass) can register for the side activities.

There are limited spots for each activity, so please sign up if you want to attend. First come first served!

You can sign up here until February 18th. After that, you can sign up at the registration desk during Winter Jump if there still are spots left.

Sauna

Take a sauna with us! Steam your worries away, have a chat with some of your fellow dancers, and jump into the Oslo Fjord if you are feeling adventurous 🥶❄️

There is room for 25 people in the sauna.

Oslo walking tour

Join us for a free walking tour of Oslo’s main central sites, led by professional tour guide Shaf! This tour will be around two hours, so dress warmly❄️The tour ends in a cafe where you can get something warm to drink.

The tour is limited to 25 people, so please sign up if you’re thinking of coming✨

Speed friending

We all know that there are a lot of cool and fun people at Winter Jump. However, social dances and classes are not always the best time and place to sit down and talk to people - there is, after all, a lot of super fun dancing going on. In order to work around this, we will be having a pre-party speed-friending at Kulturhuset. Join us for a nice evening of chatting, interesting conversation-starters, and a great chance to get to know your fellow Winter Jump people! 😀
